Slammin' Shannon Persinger!

Slammin' Shannon has hit the ground running with The Answer.  Her versatility has fit right in with the sound of The Answer.  We will update this story with more information about her band experience and her beautiful family in the next week.  Shannon and Mandy have really worked together well in keeping The Answer known for its awesome female singing and our garnering accolades.

The band would also like to thank Eric for sharing his talented wife with us.  She is a joy to work with and talented as can be.  What a fantastic voice!

Amanda Kittredge is now Amanda Prieur

An update for those who have been asking about Amanda.  She is doing well, although she did say she missed everyone and performing for all of you.  She was married a couple weeks ago to Brent Prieur.  The band did officially okay Brent for being Amanda's husband.  He went through a thorough check and training with the band members.

Amanda will be moving to Chicago in a couple of weeks to live with her husband at the Great Lakes Naval Base.  There is a contact there who plans on hiring Amanda for various singing opportunities.  In the beginning of July they will then move to a base in Mayport, FL near Jacksonville where they will live for at least three years.  At that point, she may pursue the entertainment business through a theme park like Disney World.  I know I speak for everyone when I say our hopes and prayers are with Amanda and Brent for a fantastic life whichever direction life takes them.

Calendar

The band is happy to report that our schedule for 2005 is filling up and is near capacity.  We try to make sure many weekends are off for family time.  We are getting to the point where the band slots are almost filled up.  If you know of someone who is planning to hire us this year, you may want to tell them to step it up or they will have to wait for next year or hire a much less fun loving band!  Thanks to all of you for your support.  Steve and Pam, Jackie and Dave, and Mike and Pat are easily the winners of this past year's support of the year award!  Thank you for all you have done in spreading our name around, coming to gigs in faraway places and getting us bookings.

New Marketing Material

We have new pictures scheduled for Sunday, February 6 and we are going into the studio to put on some Mandy and Shannon tracks for a little demo CD of partial songs.  When that is finished and this webpage is caught up, we will be ready for 2005 and beyond with our marketing package.  This CD will be a demo only CD containing songs from our last CD in very short form for booking purposes only.  That way if they really like it and want the full versions, they can buy our CDs.  Isn't that nice?

By the way, we have almost payed for our last CD.  We only need to sell about eight more to pay for the recording time.  Another forty will pay for the production cost.
